How to play Silent Line-Up

  1. Tell students to line up in order of birthday (January 1 to December 31).
  2. Nobody may talk or write. They can only use gestures.
  3. When students think they are done, they raise their hands.
  4. Check the line by having each student say their birthday.
  5. Try again with a different order.

Variations

  • Math: give each student a number card (fractions, decimals or negatives) and line up in order.
