How to play Kim's Game

  1. Place 10 to 20 objects on a tray (or a projected picture).
  2. Students study it silently for 60 seconds.
  3. Cover the tray and secretly remove one or more objects.
  4. Uncover it. Students write down what is missing.
  5. Reveal the answer, then make it harder with more objects or less time.

Variations

  • Memory list: students write down every object they remember after the tray is covered.
  • ESL: name each object in English before starting.
